Dr. Jacqueline Wong did her undergraduate work at Johns Hopkins University and attended medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her ophthalmology residency was completed at Baylor College of Medicine and her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery was completed at the Dean McGee Eye Institute, University of Oklahoma.

Prior to joining Pacific Eyecare, Dr. Wong was Co-Director of Vitreo-Retina Service at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and was in private practice in Washington, D.C..
